    Hilah,

Will your Roku channel be returning also? If you haven’t even considered it, please do.

    Thanks.

    • Hilah on March 9, 2014 at 10:54 am

      Hi Jonathan,
We have no plans to resume our own Roku channel right now. We don’t have a good way to keep it updated. You can watch the shows on the Blip.Tv roku channel, and new Roku3 has the ability to stream YouTube directly, as well.

      • Jonathan on March 9, 2014 at 11:58 am

Installed the Blip.TV channel and found the show. I’ll be on the look out for you and the team to change your minds on a dedicated Roku channel 🙂 . Thanks for the response and welcome back to my TV screen.

Hey– I’m a single 23y/o guy living on his own so I never cared much for cooking. It wasn’t worth the effort to cook just for myself so most nights I was just throwing some veggies in a pan & calling that dinner. But a few days ago, I happened to find your videos on youtube. I LOVE the energy and attitude that you bring to cooking & your videos have convinced me to start cooking more for myself (real stuff, not just stir fry 5 nights a week). So thank you for that! I’ve already purchased your Lean to Cook book & hope I can get some fundamentals down!

Terribly sorry to read the story behind your break. I’m a medical student & recently had a patient that had a similar experience. I hope you are healthy and well, in both body & mind.

    • Hilah on April 21, 2014 at 8:26 am

Oh hell to the yeah, Angad. Your note makes me so so happy. I’m glad you found me! Thanks for buying my book. 🙂 I think you will enjoy it.

And thank you for your concern. I’m doing WAY better now and glad to be back making videos.

      • Angad on April 24, 2014 at 9:58 am

Just saw your Yellowstone s’mores video. Any chance you could tell me the name of the accommodations/cabins where y’all stayed? I’m currently trying to plan a national park trip & those looked nice.

        • Hilah on April 24, 2014 at 1:50 pm

Hi again! It was the Explorer Cabins http://www.visityellowstonepark.com/explorer-cabins-at-yellowstone.aspx
          They were great.

            Thank you!!

          • Angad on April 27, 2014 at 10:01 pm

Hey again! I made your breakfast enchiladas recipe and it was delicious. Thank you so much.

Sorry to badger you, but a quick question. I want to make some homemade taco seasoning with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, etc. and I have a question about the chili powder: I have some that I got from an Indian store that is just called “chili powder extra hot” and the ingredients just say “chili powder.” Is that going to work for the taco seasoning? Or does the Indian chili powder use a different type of chili that won’t taste good in Mexican food?

Also, forgetting the Indian stuff altogether, what type of chili powder would you recommend for taco seasoning? Ancho? Chipotle? Cayenne?

            Thanks 🙂

          • Hilah on April 28, 2014 at 3:38 pm

The chili powder you got is probably similar to cayenne pepper powder, I’m guessing. It will work if you want a hot mixture, but you’re right that some ancho chili powder would give it a more complex flavor. You should be able to find that in most large grocery stores and use a combination of it with the “extra hot”.
