The last time I had s’mores was when my nieces were little girls and I took them camping (all the way to McKinney Falls). It was their first time camping and their first time making s’mores. When their mom got back, you’d have thought that the only thing we did was make s’mores. It was funnier than hell listening to the 4 year old explaining to her mom what a s’more is. I haven’t been camping since then (I need to fix that) and hence no s’mores since then. But now I don’t have an excuse for not making s’mores.
We had the best night with s’mores a couple years ago at Yellowstone. We were with a couple other YouTubers and made s’mores around a fire with Reeses PB cups, with banana slices, with ginger snaps, chocolate wafers … and I drank a pint of blackberry brandy. It was a fun night 🙂
Great recipe. I used Rolis instead of chocolate bar. Yum!
Ooh, yum!
Hi Hilah,
I am curious if you have an idea on how one might keep a batch warm for an office pot luck without the benefit of a stove or oven on site?
Rewarm in a microwave? In foil packets in a crock pot?
Just curious.
Hi Toni,
I would think the graham crackers would get soggy if these were baked ahead of time. Maybe bake them open-faced and then add a crispy cracker on top right before serving?
